OPENS ITS DOORS AT MAD MADRID ARTES DIGITALES
MATADERO MADRID – NAVE 16
MAD MADRID ARTES DIGITALES celebrates the opening of its most ambitious exhibition: “The Legend of the TITANIC - The Immersive Exhibition”.
Visitors will be able to enjoy what will undoubtedly be one of the most important events of the season. An exhibition as never seen before, combining technology with music, theatrical and sensory effects, which will make us live in first person the life on board of one of the most famous ships in history in its most tragic night.
Upon entering, viewers will find a recreation of the Southampton dock, where they will be greeted by Captain Smith, who, through Augmented Reality, will welcome them.
They will pass through the corridors of the third-class cabins to reach the exhibition hall, dedicated to the Spanish passengers who traveled on the Titanic.
This will be followed by the new virtual reality room. There we will enjoy a tribute to the Titanic's orchestra. Each scene will represent one of the songs from the repertoire that was played on board. These classic pieces were reinterpreted by our composer Rene Merkelbach.
The complete soundtrack of the show was recorded by our own orchestra, with more than 50 musicians and choir, and will soon be available on music platforms.
The Immersive Room, with its 1,200 square meters of projections, will allow visitors to immerse themselves in the depths of the legend, offering a vision never seen of the most shocking moments experienced by the passengers on the luxurious engineering monument that was the Titanic, from its construction through the voyage and, finally, the sinking on the night of April 14-15, 1912. The 360 projections stand out for their cutting-edge quality and the emotionality of the story, featuring the Callaghan family, father and daughter, passengers aboard the Titanic.
Our metaverse room has been significantly expanded compared to previous exhibitions, incorporating interactive elements and 5D sensory experiences, such as simulated smells and a realistic reconstruction of the different classes and areas of the ship. Visitors will dive into the depths of the ocean to discover the Titanic in its current state, until, as if on a journey through time, the ship comes to life and allows us to visit all its rooms one by one, offering an unprecedented experience.
The technological and historical set will make this a unique exhibition faithful to the excellence and unbeatable quality that MAD's producers offer.
Tickets for TITANIC, THE IMMERSIVE EXHIBITION can be purchased on MAD MADRID ARTES DIGITALES website.
