The Last Days of Pompeii once again extends its stay at MAD until 21st July 2024.
Since its inauguration in Nave 16 of Matadero Madrid, "The Last Days of Pompeii" has captivated more than 300,000 spectators and has become the longest-running production of those presented at MAD.
MAD, the only permanent center in Madrid with immersive digital experiences that merge art, technology and education, has managed to consolidate itself as a cultural meeting point in the capital.
MAD continues to present the immersive exhibition "The Last Days of Pompeii" which has captivated the public with a vivid and realistic recreation of the Roman city before its destruction by Vesuvius and now announces its last extension until the 21st of July.
The tour of "The Last Days of Pompeii" includes the Exhibition Hall, the Immersive hall, the Virtual Reality Hall and the one that has undoubtedly made the difference: the Metaverse Hall. A space where the public, turned into avatars, can walk freely and interact with the space visiting the famous "Villa of Mysteries".
Transported to the past thanks to the latest technologies, visitors will be able to visit different areas within the famous location, such as its gardens, atrium, cloister, and baths. Thus, they can enjoy, firsthand, a walk through the past and witness the architecture of the city in its heyday. A dream come true in which the five senses will participate in an absolutely unique and original experience, which ends with the explosion of the volcano.
"The Last Days of Pompeii" can be enjoyed at MAD Madrid Artes Digitales until July 21st. The exhibition runs from Monday to Sunday.
